York house removal questions
How do I get a price for a York house move?
Send Porta an outline of the household, both addresses and your likely date. We review the move and prepare a fixed quote for the job described.
Can Porta arrange a move beyond York?
Yes. Porta can consider a move from York to another UK location or a move into York. Include the start and destination addresses when you enquire.
What if I have not confirmed the moving date?
You can enquire with the date you expect and explain what is still being agreed. Porta can discuss the move, then check arrangements when the date is clearer.
What if some furniture is staying behind?
Tell Porta which larger pieces are going and which are staying. That helps us quote for the household you actually want to move.
Can the quote change if I take more furniture?
Let Porta know what you are adding before the move. We can review the price and partner arrangements against the updated household.
Who will move my belongings?
A vetted independent moving partner carries out the removal. Porta arranges the partner after you accept the fixed quote for the agreed job.
