We primarily collect items from eBay and Facebook Marketplace, but we are equipped to handle purchases from any online marketplace that allows for third-party collection and delivery.

What are your fees?
Our fees are transparent with no hidden costs. All charges are clearly outlined before you book the service, including any fees related to distance, item size, or special handling requirements.
How can I track my delivery?
You can stay informed through real-time SMS updates and instant messaging, available on Standard and Premium deliveries. You will also receive updates via email throughout the process.
What is your refund policy?
You are entitled to a 100% refund if you cancel the collection at least 24 hours before the scheduled collection time. Refunds for cancellations made within 24 hours of collection are subject to a review based on the circumstances.
How does Facebook Marketplace cash on collection work with Porta?
You book online, tell us the item, the seller's address, and how much cash is needed. Porta matches you with a vetted driver who collects the cash from you, travels to the seller, pays them in person, loads the item, and delivers it straight to your door. You never need to be there yourself.
Is it safe to use a courier for Facebook Marketplace cash transactions?
Yes. Porta's drivers are vetted before joining the platform and act exactly as a normal buyer would — arriving in person with cash in hand. They never ask the seller for codes, photos, or any form of online payment, which means the transaction is protected against the most common Facebook Marketplace scams.
How much does Facebook Marketplace cash on collection cost? The total cost includes a delivery fee based on distance and item size, plus a cash handling fee. You'll see the full breakdown before you confirm your booking — no hidden charges.
What areas do you cover for cash on collection?
Porta's platform covers the whole of the UK. Whether the seller is in a city centre or a rural location, we can match you with a driver in the area.
What if the seller refuses the collection?
If the seller is unavailable or refuses to hand over the item, your driver will contact you immediately. You won't be charged for the cash handling if the transaction doesn't complete, and any refund will be handled in line with our cancellation policy.
Can you collect any item from Facebook Marketplace?
We can collect most items — furniture, appliances, bikes, gym equipment, electronics, and more. If you're unsure whether your item qualifies, contact us before booking and we'll confirm.
How do I know the cash was handed over correctly?
Your driver will confirm collection once the handover is complete. On Standard and Premium deliveries you'll also receive real-time SMS updates throughout, so you're kept informed from pickup through to delivery.
